Today we're going to look at some Japanese onomatopoeia, or "sound words," that you can use in everyday Japanese, and Manzai comedian Chad Mullane is going to help us. Today's Lesson: at the restaurant.
Japanese has many more variations of onomatopoeia than in English, and they are much more commonly used in speech and writing.
However, they also have to downside that many can seem very similar to non-native speakers, and a simple change from か to が can change the entire meaning of the word.
So today we're going to look at onomatopoeia that we can use at restaurants, with the mad comedic stylings of Chad Mullane!
